Description
Valentine’s Day is coming up! Why not spend an evening with your sweetheart sharing full body massages?
Our Massage Oil quenches thirsty skin with a light fragrance that is not overpowering and is toxin free. The convenient pump bottle helps to reduce spills and drips and doesn’t require juggling a bottle and cap!
These are limited edition, I bring them back each year for Valentine’s Day. Once they are gone, they are gone, so don’t wait!
Our Massage Oil is available in 2 scents:
*Passion:
Passion fragrance is a blend of essential oils that include three different exotic florals, orange, and the musky scent of patchouli. It is sensual and sexy!
*Infatuation:
Infatuation fragrance is a blend of essential oils that is made up with sweet florals mixed with orange and sage. It smells like spring in a bottle! It feels more like the first feelings of love!
*Warm Ginger: Sometimes you just want something warm and comforting to chase away your stress. Ginger is known to help reduce inflammation and is used in massage oils that get warm on your skin.
*Surrender: This one has more of a medicinal smell. Made from oils that encourage muscle relaxation and help soothe pain, it will have that “menthol” smell to it. But, it really helps those tired, sore muscles feel better! This is not a substitute for a Pain Stick (coming soon), this is to encourage overall relaxation and surrender!
I use essential oils as a natural fragrance. I’m very picky about quality in that department. But, like anything, too much is never good, so I use what I know to be safe and that may mean that the scent is lighter than you are used to. I believe in using nature before chemicals, so the only product I use a fragrance oil in is my candles and it is phthalate free, but I’m not convinced it is best used directly on the skin.
The story of our Massage Oil
My hubby and I love trading massages. We don’t do it as often as we probably should, but when we have the chance, it is pure heaven!
We used to buy whatever massage oils we could find at different stores. The smell was strong, which wasn’t bad, but some would give us headaches. As I researched fragrance oils, I found that many contain phthalates and can irritate allergies. They just aren’t very good for humans.
So, I made us some. The first bottle was great, but I hated trying to juggle the bottle and cap and not drip oil all over the place. I had noticed that my massage therapist uses a pump for her cream that she uses, and it sparked an idea in me. I use a pump in my Shower Oil for the same messy reason, I should use one for massage oil too!
I use Organic Sesame Oil as the base. Sesame oil is widely used in Ayurveda, an ancient healing system that really pampers the skin. It is deeply moisturizing and nearly non-comedogenic, unlike coconut oil. It also feeds the skin with good fats to smooth out crepe looking skin and keeps skin supple and youthful. Very dry skin will require more oil.
It only takes 26 seconds for your body to absorb what you put on your skin, so why not feed it good things? You don’t have to sacrifice the pleasure for your health!
I understand there are some of you who may prefer an unscented option, so I’m now offering that option on all of my body/skin care! Be sure to select it when adding to your cart!
